mike Innella

Organizational Strategies Consultant

Mike is an accomplished technology executive with a strong track record of leading organizations through periods of transformation and growth. Subsequent to his service as a Naval Officer through two deployments on a guided missile destroyer, Mike joined Stanley Associates (now CGI Federal). At Stanley, he became an early member of the executive leadership team where he played a critical role in the company's success and eventual Initial Public Offering and later sale to CGI Federal.

As an advisor or serving in temporary executive roles such as President or COO, he brings a holistic, enterprise-level perspective to business operations — aligning strategy, culture, and execution to drive lasting impact. Often described as a “general physician” for organizations, Mike diagnoses operational challenges and implements practical remedies to strengthen core functions and long-term viability.

Mike’s keys to success include clear lines of authority, well-defined accountability, and a culture that supports both. To get there, he establishes structured processes and performance metrics — including ISO and CMMI frameworks — that clarify ownership, support decision-making, and reduce organizational friction. His work is grounded in operational fundamentals, with a sharp focus on improving efficiency, leadership development, and strategic alignment across departments.

Results under his leadership have included stronger revenue growth, more predictable business pipelines, improved employee engagement, reduced executive firefighting, and enhanced competitiveness in complex markets. Mike’s unique value lies in his ability to unite HR, Finance, Sales, and Delivery into a single, collaborative system — enabling organizations to play as one team and scale with confidence.
